I'm Gita.
Have you ever stared at a photograph and — without even realizing it — felt all of the wonderful memories behind it come rushing back?
If the answer is yes, you and I are so much the same — we treasure the moments with those we hold most dear, and believe they deserve to be held onto forever.
It's this sentiment that is the heart behind all of my work: I take pride in capturing your real stories, your real emotions, and your real love, so that you can store up the best memories for decades to come.
I serve families in Honolulu, Waikiki, and beyond. My sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and always a celebration of everything that makes life so rich. I'd be honored to photograph your family!
Based on Oʻahu, and ever wandering the world, I look forward to all the beauty and story waiting to be captured.
my favorite things:

our love story started in paris
My husband and I first met at a bus stop by the Eiffel Tower... at midnight. Fifteen years later and I still can't believe that's really our story!

I didn't expect to have a big family
I never imagined I'd have four little ones of my own — but here we are! Our home is loud, messy, chaotic, and full of life, and I truly try to savor every season.

I'm addicted to travel
Before kids, I always had another trip planned before the current one even started. I've visited over 20 countries, and now we bring our kids!

nature & hiking are where i'm happy
I plan my trips around nature, scenic drives, and hiking — not shopping or resorts. I'm most at peace when I'm outdoors, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

i'm a huge foodie
Give me all the sushi and spicy food. I'll choose salty and savory over sweets every single time. My husband jokes that I plan my days around meals... and he's not wrong!

photography has always been part of my life
Growing up, I loved watching my dad create beautiful photographs out of ordinary moments of our lives together. I bought my first professional camera after college, but it wasn't until moving to Hawai‘i in 2017 that photography truly became something more.
